  1. :: Nitro+ Blasterz Version 1.08 AC Changelist :: The current version of Nitro+ Blasterz is version 1.08 for the arcade version. The steam version is currently 1.02 but is based on the changes made in the 1.08 arcade version update. The PS3 & PS4 version is currently 1.03 but is based on the 1.06 arcade version update, thus making it not the most definitive version of the game gameplay wise. Here are the changes that have been made in the latest arcade/Steam builds of Nitro+ Blasterz (special thanks to @Jasepi_iidx for the translations for the update): -- will continue --

  6. In this year's 20th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine, they will be revealing that the TV anime based on Sakaku Head's manga series "Himouto! Umaru-chan"will be getting a second season. The live-streamed DaraNama Returns program also announced the news on Saturday. The anime's official website and Young Jump posted a teaser promotional video and visual for the season coming this fall (can be found below). The main staff from the series first season is slated to return for the second season, this includes the anime studio Doga Kobo, director Masahiko Ohta, series script supervisor Takashi Aoshima, and character designer Aya Takano. According to the description of the teaser video, the following main cast will be returning to reprise their roles: Aimi Tanaka as Umaru Doma Kenji Nojima as Taihei Doma Akari Kageyama as Nana Ebina Haruka Shiraishi as Kirie Motoba Yurina Furukawa as Sylphynford Tachibana The first televised anime series first premiered in July 2015 and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for North America and will release the series with a English dub. The 10th volume of the manga will ship on April 19 and will also be bundled with an OVA (original video animation) DVD which the original TV staff & cast will also be returning for. Sankaku Head launched the manga in Weekly Young Jump in 2013 (after running an earlier two chapter Himouto! Umaru-chan version in Miracle Jump in 2012). 2.7 million copies are in print as of March of this year. The manga centers around Taihei Doma and his little sister Umaru, who boasts beautiful looks as well as prowess in both school and sports. However, she has a certain secret. Everyone may think she is the ideal girl, but she is anything but. "Himōto" is a pun on "imōto" (little sister) and "himono," which means "dried fish," but in slang can refer to a woman who is proper in public but lazy at home. The manga inspired the Akita Imokko! Ebina-chan, Himōto! Umaru-chan S, and Himōto! Umaru-chan SS spinoff manga. Himōto! Umaru-chan SS ended on February 28. The manga has also inspired the Himōto! Umaru-chan F: Himōto Enikki fanbook and the Himōto! Umaru-chan N novel. Credited by: Anime News Network
  7. On Friday, the team responsible for the Dragonball Z inspired fan game "Hyper Dragonball Z" has just released the latest version update called "The Champ's Build" to the M.U.G.E.N powered indie game. With this update comes a slew of changes along with the game HUB, character balance across the whole game, & new stages. Along with the new game version update, the team also released a trailer highlighting which shows off some of the game changes as well as show some of the incoming characters that will be making their way in 2017 like Juuhachigou (Android 18), Krillin, Tien, Majin Buu, & Gotenks: Hyper Dragonball Z is an unofficial Dragonball Z fighting game created to resemble what a DBZ fighting game would look like it if was made by the Japanese game development company Capcom. The game is created by a team of people who create content for the fighting game engine "M.U.G.E.N". M.U.G.E.N. is a game engine that's been around for years that is used mostly to make fighting games which allows people to make their own dream fighting game.....although there is some small programming & designing on the developers part required if you want to make your game. You can download a pre-made game from other developers and play them right off the bat let alone customize them to your liking (again, if you know how). Hyper Dragonball Z is available to download now from the groups facebook page.

  9. On the 2nd manga volume of Sakurako Gokurakuin's Brave ☆ Star Romantics, the wraparound jacket band announced on Saturday that Sekirei, one of Gokurakuin's earlier manga titles, will be returning as a regular series. Sekirei will resume in this year's 10th issue of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine on May 2. The advertisement for the manga has teh subtitle "Kanojo no Inai 365-Hi no Koto" (365 Days Without a Girlfriend). It further teases with the tagline "One year with his girlfriend gon. One Year until she returns." In the original story, Sekirei takes place in Tokyo known as Shinoto Teito in 2020. Minato Sahashi, is an extremely intelligent 19 year old yet due to his inability to cope under pressure, has failed his college entrance exam twice. One day, Minato meets a girl named Musubi, who literally falls from the sky. Minato soon learns that she is a "Sekirei" who chose him as her "Ashikabi", one of the mysterious set of humans that have the genetic trait who can make contact - by kissing - with the Sekirei. This binds the Sekirei to him and allows them to use their full power in elemination battles with other Sekirei. Made up of 108 cute girls, buxom women, and bishonen, the Sekirei fight in a competition known as the "Sekirei Project" organized by Hiroto Minaka, the chairman and founder of the mysterious and powerful MBI Corporation. Minato soon learns that being the partner of a girl is not all fun and games, especially when several other Sekirei choose him as their Ashikabi, each also forming a contract with him. Now Minato must find a way to survive both the life-threatening battles of the Sekirei Plan and his partners' fierce competition for him. Gokurakuin had originally stopped the Sekirei manga on August 2015. She began the series in 2004 and the series inspired two anime adaptations in 2008 and 2010. Funimation has released both anime in North America. Yen Press is publishing the Sekirei manga digitally, and will start publish the manga in print in July. 12. It's with deep regret that as of March 9, 2017, Anime Toshokan Inc. will officially close down our IRC channel on Rizon. We say this because it has been a staple within Anime Toshokan dating back to when our site was originally called "AIC World" and because of the long history it has with our group. This decision was made due to the inactivity of the channel and because most of the A-T IRC staff has jumped ship to our Discord channels. Anime Toshokan currently has 2 Discord groups which are operated by Mikuru//X & Akadai Shirou (both operate one each). One deals with the A-T group as a whole and the other deals with the A-T gaming guild. For those of you whom been with us for all of these years, thank you so very much for the memories and good times (and bad) we've had. If you would like to meet us on Discord, please click here: https://discord.gg/hQARJ6a
